Schaeffer Family Homes has been building new homes and communities in South Jersey for over three generations! Much of our success can be contributed to the help of our hardworking and dedicated team members. We are excited to shine a well-deserved “Employee Spotlight” on Renee Verhoeven, our Property Manager and Administrative Assistant, who started as a part of our team in May of 1999!
Renee’s passion for her work is truly inspiring! She’s always willing to go above and beyond for everyone around her – from her teammates to her tenants – and she’ll never shy away from a challenge! Tim Schaeffer says, “Renee’s been my right hand for so long, at this point I can’t remember her not being there. Her experience and dedication always allowed me to take on a multitude of challenges without ever complaining.”
“Officially” speaking, Renee is our Administrative Assistant and Property Manager… but she certainly wears many different hats! Her passion for her work and her vast knowledge and experience in the industry have equipped her to take on and conquer any new project – big or small. Renee says her favorite part of her work is that, “I’m happy to have been trained in all departments of the business and enjoy being able to step in and help out wherever my help is needed. I love socializing with my tenants at the 55 and older community. There’s a lot of knowledge there to take in!”
Outside of work, Renee loves gardening and spending time with her granddaughter. She likes to go to parks and beaches to enjoy the outdoors with her family. Tim Schaeffer says, “Renee’s family has become an extension of our family over the years! Watching Renee’s daughter, Ashley, and the rest of her family grow has always been fun. And now that her son has made her a grandmother, a big part of her heart was stolen by her granddaughter.”
We are all very grateful to have such an awesome teammate like Renee! She’s a pleasure to work with and we can always count on her to lend a helping hand or teach us something new. Thank you, Renee, for everything you do for our team and your tenants!
