If you have a homesite, we can help determine if it is suitable for building. Schaeffer Family Homes provides a homesite inspection for all of our customers. During a due diligence contingency period, we will go out to your homesite and identify which items will need to be addressed to build your new home. We will also talk to the local municipalities and zoning offices to determine what permits and tests they require. We recommend that a soil test, seasonal high water table test and topographical grading plan be performed to get things started.

When you are ready to build, Schaeffer Family Homes offers over 20 home designs, with prices ranging from the low $100s to the upper $300s and beyond. Our selection includes a variety of styles, such as ranch, 1st floor masters, and traditional 2-story homes. Each floorplan also comes with various structural customization options to suit your preferences. If you are looking for something unique or custom, please let us know, and we will gladly review the available customization choices with you. If you have your own plan, we are more than happy to review it as well.
Your final price may vary depending on which of our included feature packages you choose. The starting price for each floorplan is based on the Legacy Features Package. Upgraded selections are part of the Signature Features Package. Upon request, we will provide you with a cost estimate based on the features you wish to include in your new home.
