Choosing a floorplan that’s perfect for you and your family can be challenging, but when it comes to The Newport, it’s hard to go wrong! At Schaeffer Family Homes, The Newport is one of our most popular and versatile floorplans. This charming ranch-style home, which starts at 2,005 square-feet with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, offers unlimited possibilities when it comes to personalization.
When we work with our customers in the Design Center to customize their Newport, they can choose from three different exterior styles and various structural options, most of which are unique for a ranch-style home. Curious what we mean by “unique?” In The Newport’s “B” and “C” architectural designs, you can choose to finish the second floor and add options like the additional fourth and fifth bedroom. Although these additional second-floor rooms are traditionally used as bedrooms for kids or guests, many of our customers have fashioned them into at-home gyms, playrooms, “man-caves” or entertainment centers!
The Newport features a spacious master suite tucked away on the first floor with an incredible private bathroom and roomy walk-in closet. The great room, kitchen and dining rooms are designed with an open floorplan concept, which creates a flexible environment for hosting guests or spending quality time with the family.
At the heart of the kitchen is an angled center-island with a sink, perfect for your more “laid-back” meals or enjoying a cup of coffee before work. The large windows at the great room and dining room allow sunlight to radiate through the entire first floor, making for a naturally bright and welcoming atmosphere. At the front of the home are the second and third bedrooms, which many customers have utilized alternatively as a study or library. The included 2-car garage in The Newport provides enough room for your cars and storage, with an entrance that leads to the laundry and mud room.

Immerse yourself in history and experience the “home-spun” era up-close and personally while shopping, eating and learning new things!
Not only is visiting the Cape May County Zoo fun for all ages, but it’s also free! Spend some time outdoors while observing amazing animals like lions, otters, monkeys and more. You can even conquer their “aerial adventure,” an experience filled with rope swings, zip lines and other fun obstacles at the zoo’s Tree-To-Tree Adventure Park!
Make your way to Mullica Hill on any Thursday, Friday or Saturday to enjoy fresh baked treats and delicious homemade meals at the Amish Farmer’s Market. Spend some time exploring unique shops, which offer everything from holiday decorations and creative gifts to handmade soaps and essential oils.

Hop on board the world’s tallest and second-fastest roller coaster, Kingda Ka, play carnival games and have a ball at Six Flags Great Adventure. You can even check out the Safari at Six Flags, featuring real, wild animals from six different continents! We promise there’s something fun for everyone at Six Flags, even if you don’t like rollercoasters!
