Before coming into work every morning, Ashley particularly looks forward to learning something new. Outside of the office, Ashley is most likely hanging out with her friends and family, and exploring the diverse food scene in Philadelphia. She also loves to spend quality time with her two beautiful rescue dogs, and fosters dogs whenever she can (see, we told you she has a huge heart!)

As of April 1st, 2017, Schaeffer Family Homes will be taking a $4,000 price increase across the board on all our models in our communities, spot lots, and on your own lot. The reason is due to an increase in the cost of lumber. According to Eye on Housing, lumber costs have remained pretty steady since 2014. The price of lumber, from framing to structural panels has increased up to 30 percent in recent weeks.
Since this cost is something we can not avoid, our prices in turn have to go up. We wanted to make our customers aware so they can lock in the lower pricing NOW! How can you do this?
